@digdog I don't have any first-hand knowledge of govt's. I do know that Facebook stores the information of your contacts and uses it to advertise to them, while simultaneously requiring that they create an account to purge the data... until one of your friends reuploads it

@digdog Certainly for information you control, and I would be extremely interested to see what a 'SIWA for your friend" solution would look like!

“In functional programming you encode state in types. In OOP you encode state in objects.” 🤯

(h/t to @justMaku@twitter.com for this one)

@digdog I really liked the new keyboard feature to autofill contacts on iOS... but its an interesting problem because it's not _your_ information you're giving away there.

Discovered fruit ninja is available in VR. I spent more of tonight flailing my arms around than I’d care to admit.

Google has suspended Element (@matrix) from the Play Store for "Sexual Content and Profanity". Basically same story as with Subway Tooter a while back. Element is to Matrix as Chrome is to the web. Curiously, Chrome is still on the Play Store.

While I’m reasonably happy with how SF has been doing, I’m extremely worried that LA is reopening. Their numbers are in a bad spot, and they need to start acting like it. sfchronicle.com/bayarea/articl

Tip for testing your iOS app with VoiceOver!

If you’re a sighted dev, it can be easy to “cheat” when testing with VO, using visual cues to navigate. I recommend using Screen Curtain to hide your screen so you can really experience your app w/o seeing! Just 3-finger triple tap!

This is a disgusting abuse of power. Amazon knows remote elections are equally valid, fair, and safe. They just want to require a date and time to disenfranchise the voting workers.
